System Of A Down are a Amerian-American heavy metal band formed in California 1994. They consist of four members, Serj Tankian (lead vocalist and keybordist, Daron Malakian (guitar and vocals), Shavo Odadjian (bass) and John Dolmayan (drums). 

The band has achieved commecrial success with 5 albums to the their name, three out of the 5 albums debut at number one on the Billboard 200 charts. They have sold over 40 million records world wide and the band have been nominated for four Grammy awards they won one for Best Hard Rock Performance for their song B.Y.O.B. (Bring Your Own Bombs).
