The print of ‘Dorothy’ was released at the end of 2007 as a signed edition of 500. Banksy had previously painted the solitary figure of Dorothy (the central character played by Judy Garland in the 1938 movie ‘The Wizard of Oz’) onto the side of a truck at the 2006 Barely Legal show in Los Angeles, with her holding a noose in place of a wicker basket.
